November 2001

27.November.2001 - I posted an article on Slashdot today about the Leonid meteor storm. (<cough> Karma whore)

27.November.2001 - Cavities filled, advertiser found for my game site, and I'm stoked about the Internet Wireless World West conference and Sharp symposium I'm going to in San Jose early next week! (I can't wait to get my Zaurus PDA!)

25.November.2001 - A new version of Defendguin is available... after a year! Yikes!

23.November.2001 - I submitted articles to both LinuxDevices and Slashdot about first-person-shooters for Linux-based PDAs. Both sites posted them! :^)

15.November.2001 - Three of my Agenda PDA games, PDA Maze, Agendaroids and BrickOut were mentioned in the "Free Application Showcase" section of the latest issue of the Japanese Linux magazine!

12.November.2001 - Speaking of my games and MacOS, I've released an updated version of Bug Squish, which is based on a great shareware game for MacOS called "Blood Suckers" by Pangea Software.

12.November.2001 - My New Breed Software site was mentioned on a Mac game development portal, idevgames.com. The editor mentions my SDL-based games, which should easily port to MacOS. Hopefully the site's readers will contribute some more Mac versions of my games!

11.November.2001 - I've been invited to a wireless technology symposium in San Jose next month!

9.November.2001 - My Web Turtle site is being used in an electronic design class at Western Carolina University! I've also added a few new features to it, at the request of the teacher.

8.November.2001 - I've finally started working on my game Super Tux once again. 0.0.2 is out for testing.

7.November.2001 - The Linux User Group I'm part of held elections last night. For the first time in the almost three years it's existed, I've decided to step down from elected officership. Running meetings was wearing me out. :^) I'm remaining webmaster and public relations officer, though, so I'll be doing just as much behind-the-scenes stuff as I ever have.

6.November.2001 - I got another article posted to Slashdot. This time, asking about problems people seem to have with Windows XP and PDAs.

5.November.2001 - What a rollercoaster weekend. I took part in my godson/nephew's baptism on Sunday, which was wonderful, if not nerve-racking. On the other end of the spectrum, Melissa and I visited a good friend from high school, probably for the last time. He's been sent home into hospice care, because the hospitals can no longer help him. To help my week start off with a blast, I also discovered this morning that I have two cavities that need filling, and the banner advertising account my websites are part of (see below) really is being closed. Update: My friend passed away this evening. :^(
