26.December.2001 - Interesting holiday this year. We had a solstice party last Friday, went to the Bay Area to visit friends (one couple had just had their first baby!) and family. My car's headlights stopped working, so we had to cut our visit short by a few hours. Now it's 3am and I'm slowly installing "The Sims" on Melissa's computer (which required finally getting around to adding more hard disk space). She's downstairs entangled in "Okage" on the PlayStation 2. And the cats seem extra happy lately...14.December.2001 - Thanks to Google Groups, I found my very first post to comp.sys.atari.8bit, a newsgroup I still read to this very day. My message was simple: "Anyone outthere!? I love ataris!!" And I still do.
:^)5.December.2001 - I was on KDVS radio (90.3FM in Sacramento) today along with some other folks from the Linux Users' Group of Davis, as a guest on Dr. Andy's Poetry and Technology Hour. You can read the transcript or even listen to it!
4.December.2001 - Got back from the IWWW Conference and Sharp Zaurus PDA Symposium in San Jose. Had a blast!
1.December.2001 - Unable to finish my original project by the deadline, I decided to repackage my game Agendaroids in SDL, and enter it into No Starch Press's "SDL game in under a megabyte" contest! The result: Vectoroids!
