19.February.2002 - Examining the number of spam e-mails I've reported in the last 25 days, I get an average of 45 spams per day. How nice
>:^(Update: The collection of just under a month of spam includes about 1150 separate spam messages, and only about 600 different actual message subjects. (In other words, on average, I got about 2 copies of every spam sent to me.).
Top spams include:
- "Free Sony Digital Camera" (7 copies)
- "Help Wanted: Great pay for processing document at home" (9 copies)
- "Easy online Pharmacy" (12 copies)
and tying first place, with 14 copies each:
- "I THINK SOMEONE STOLE YOUR PASSWORD" and "hi cutie"
18.February.2002 - Very fun LUGOD meeting last night. Our speaker bought 12 pizzas and over 70 sodas, and every single attendee got a copy of a $30 embedded programming book, a swiss-army knife, and a tin of mints. And we had prizes to raffle, too!
14.February.2002 - My game Defendguin was reviewed by GamesForLinux.de. It got a 4-out-of-5!
8.February.2002 - An interactive genetics website I created back in college was just selected by science educators, and will be published in 'SciLinked' schoolbooks!
1.February.2002 - I've decided to start accepting donations for my Bill's Games site.
