July 2003

July 31 - I created little tri-fold booklets for Tux Paint. You can see the PDF versions on my FTP site.

July 30 - BTW, if you happen to be in San Francisco for LinuxWorld Expo next week (August 5th-7th), drop by LUGOD's booth in the ".org Pavillion" and say 'hi!' I'll be there all three days.

July 30 - I've finally dusted off my source code for Tux Print. I hadn't worked on it since I started it, back in March! :^(

July 29 - I'm just barely keeping on the scoreboard on Slashdot's Hall-of-fame page. ;^) Today, I posted this item, linking to a review of the new Sharp Zaurus from Japan!

July 27 - I guess I forgot to mention here... Another one of my Linux games has been ported to the Sega Dreamcast! (And also to the Game Park "GP32" handheld from Asia!) This time, Circus Linux!...

July 19 - Tux Paint has been translated into Walloon, a language spoken in Belgium. It'll be in the next release. ;^)

July 18 - Seth Schoen from the Electronic Frontier Foundation will be speaking at the next Linux Users' Group of Davis meeting. Prior to Monday's live presentation, though, he was on KDVS radio here in Davis, on Dr. Andy's Poetry & Technology Hour. I took the liberty of creating an MP3 of the interview, as well as typing up a transcript of the interview. Enjoy!
