March 31 - I got to talk on Dr. Andy's Poetry & Technology Hour radio show (on KDVS radio) to plug my upcoming presentation on the KDE desktop for Linux at next week's LUGOD meeting! (It's also mentioned over at KDE.news!)March 20 - I cracked my Zaurus' screen! D'OH! (Photo) Update: Bought a practically-new SL-5500 from a friend. Yay!
March 19 - I discovered Tux Paint was reviewed in a magazine called Easy Linux in Germany back in November!
March 16 - *Gasp!* Is my work laptop dead!? NO! It's just not plugged in! DUHHH!! (Okay, really, the outlet it was plugged into had tripped, so I'm not a total idiot. Just a partial one.)
March 12 - Forgot to mention, I visited my dad last weekend and introduced him to his new computer running Debian Linux with the most excellent KDE environment and suite of software.
We downloaded the rest of his email, and then promptly deleted most of it.
;^)We added lots of people to his addressbook, and then I showed him the Konqueror web browser, briefly showed him the OpenOffice.org suite, and then pointed out the various games and other cool goodies (like KStars, which he seemed quite impressed with).Linux might not be ready for everybody (what OS is!?), but it's certainly ready for e-mail checking, web surfing, letter writing grandpas like my dad!
;^)March 11 - The Tux Paint website has a fresh new look! Enjoy!
March 2 - Tux Paint has been reviewed in Linux Focus magazine!
March 2 - My article on the Mozilla web browser has been published in this month's California Computer News magazine!!!
March 2 - SuperTux is game of the month at the Linux Game Tome! Hopefully lots of people will help bring it up to a playable version, after all these years!
