August 20 - I just discovered that Tux Paint was mentioned (or demonstrated?) at a state-wide school technology conference in Ohio this past March! (Ohio SchoolNet '04)August 13 - Tux Paint is listed over at Apple.com!
August 12 - I finally did it... I finally decided to switch from Debian Linux's 'stable' branch to their 'testing' branch.
August 10 - Tux Paint has been reviewed in PC Projects, a UK magazine.
August 9 - It looks like I'll be doing a talk on "kid's software for Linux" at the next BALUG meeting (in San Francisco).
August 9 - Stupid people seem to run crawling bots on websites and "add links to them" on their site, then e-mail the webmaster and ask for a reciprocal link. I keep getting crap like this, and the categories they put my site into don't make sense. They also ignore the fact that I typically say I do not maintain any kind of "links" collection, and therefore to not even bother asking me to link to them.
>:^(I'm getting close to setting up a filter that marks all mail with the word 'reciprocal' in it as spam.August 7 - Sunburned myself at Picn*x. D'oh! I'll post photos soon.
August 4 - Here's that CNET video with a tiny clip of me in it! (Frame-grab)
August 3 - I went to day 1 of LinuxWorld Expo in SF today. LUGOD and some other user groups are sharing a booth there, to promote ourselves and this weekend's big Linux picnic! Some of us took some photos, and a couple of us got interviewed by CNET! Apparently, I'll be in some montage video later this week!
