New Apartment in Mountain View

July 2, 2004

It's a 950 sq. ft. flat. 3bd, 2bath. It's a very strange shape, and I discovered the nextdoor apt. is only 1bd, so it makes sense.

Looking in from the entrance.

Very small/tight kitchen, sadly. Dishwasher needs help, too.

Electric stove. (Hey, there's my flashlight!)

Looking into the living room from the dining area / entrance.

Big window with new curtains.

Looking into the living room.

Living room has a small coat closet on the far end, near the hallway.

Looking back towards the entrance from the living room.

Looking into the hallway.

Down the hall to the left is the bathroom.

Ooh... bathroom.

Bedroom number one. It has a door to the yard/patio out back.

Looking straight out onto the patio.

Patio to the left. Cute plant.

Patio to the right.

Looking down the hall towards bedroom number two and the master bedroom.

Bedroom number two. Identical to bedroom number one, except a mirror-image and no access to the outside.

All bedrooms have sliding mirror closet doors. (It's me in my undies!)

Coming out of bedroom number two, I noticed the odd window in the dining area right next to the entrance. >snap!<

Now outside of the master bedroom, looking back down the hall towards the bathroom.

The master bedroom. I even have a bed, thanks to my boss!

Closing in on the master bathroom.

Looking towards the master bedroom closet. In the mirror, I noticed I got the door to the master bathroom wrong on my map! D'oh!

Another smallish bathroom. Oval mirror.

Shower's pretty much the same as the regular bathroom.

Looking outside across to my next door neighbor. (That's biodiesel he's got on the porch!)

Watch your head! The stairs to the upstairs apartments are right next to my entrance.

The gate between this building (four units) and the parking area (which is actually a loop around the entire complex).

There's my car!

Looking back towards my apartment from the gate.

Continuing away from my apartment is access to the pool. And another cranium obstacle; a tilty tree.

I couldn't see the pool, but it's in there somewhere.

Interesting phone jacks in bedroom number one.

Small heater in bedroom number one.

The hall light (identical to the light above the entrance in the dining area) is kinda cute.

Long baseboard heater in bedroom number two. (Also found in living room and master bedroom.)

Hot and Cold knobs! Price Pfister. I think we had these at my parent's house!

You know those shower nozzles that're, like... DOUBLE shower nozzles?

Master bedroom closet is a little deeper than the others, I think. (Also, more underwear modelling, apparently.)
