What is it? An event to celebrate old video games; a hands-on, living museum, where a variety of classic game systems and computers and retro games will be showcased. Atari Party is a free event, open to the public, hosted by volunteers from the local community.

  • 2015-02-26 - We're looking for some additional (non-exhibitor) volunteers to help run the show, as well as TVs/monitors that some of the exhibitors can borrow. Learn how can you help on the Volunteer page.

  • 2015-02-04 - I've been invited to hold a mini-Atari Party at IGDA Sacramento's "Indie Arcade 2015" on Sat. April 11th. More details here.
  • 2015-02-03 - This year's event is scheduled! Saturday, May 2nd at the Davis public library!
  • 2015-01-21 - Plans will soon be underway for this year's Atari Party, to once again be held in Davis. Stay tuned!
  • 2014-10-27 - Davis Makerpsace will be hosting a video game exhibit during November's "2nd Friday ArtAbout" (on Nov. 14th). Bill Kendrick, founder of Atari Party, will be bringing a small selection of Atari gear to this event, and others are encouraged to contribute.
